Farewell Domino magazine, and we thank you.

Unless you have been living under a rock, I am sure you have heard by now the sad, depressing news that Domino magazine is no more. The last issue arrived in home a few weeks ago. As always, I poured a glass of Malbec wine, curled up in our living room with the dogs and husband……read Domino cover to cover. Ohhh, what to do now. Here are some of my favorite photos from some past issues.

Farewell Domino, and we thank you.

Tis the season :)

Now that most of our remodel is done (bathroom reno will re-start in January after holidays), we can start enjoying our home. We have most of the house cleaned up and we are slowly getting furniture back in some rooms. We would love to enjoy this holiday season with some decorations! I was trying to get some Christmas ideas- please enjoy some ideas from Flickr.

Different wall coverings

It is getting to the point where I must make the design decisions for the walls in the kitchen and bathroom. The plumbers and electricians should be finished by the end of this week (let’s hope!), therefore, Andrew said we need to decide on our wall coverings. Where is tile going vs. paint, or wall coverings vs. tile? The best wall coverings I have seen are from Phillip-Jeffries. You can view samples in Dallas at their showroom or you can order these online. Since wallpaper is making a comeback, I think these would be great options for a bathroom or study. Check out some these yummy wall coverings below. They are washable too! Have a great Labor Day!
