FW Ridgmar Flea Market this weekend!

Who doesn’t love a flea market? The Fort finally has a “Trade Day” for your viewing pleasure. Located at Ridgmar Farmers Market, across from our Neiman Marcus mall, is the newest THIRD MONDAY in FW. I have to say, I have not been yet since they have only had two, therefore, I am counting on someone to tell me how this goes. Flea Markets, just like antique shops are hit or miss. I love to find a diamond in the rough though! Give me a shout if you go. I would love to hear how this Trade Day compares.

House of Wynn

Mom called me last week to let me know about another new antique store opening. Thanks Mom! The Fort continues getting new home stores with great finds! House of Wynn is two buildings full of European antique furniture, jewelry, teas, coffee, dishes, table linens and art deco items. Evelyn Wynn, owner and designer, was tired of putting all of her finds all over Dallas and Fort Worth. She now has two buildings full of good finds at a great price! She also offers a full design service including windows and blinds. House of Wynn is open Wednesday to Sunday, across from the Flying Fish at 3525 Lovell Avenue at Vickery intersection. So, have some lunch at Flying Fish, walk to House of Wynn, then continue your antiquing day at Montgomery Street Antique mall. What a perfect day. 🙂
